Swiss Precision Machining

PFL Antralux is recognized as a designer and manufacturer of precision measuring instruments, prototypes, tools, small series, and standard parts. Our machining capabilities support both internal product manufacturing and external customer orders.

With a wide CNC machine park, 2,000 m² of production and assembly surface, and certified specialist staff, we deliver very high precision machining and rectification (grinding). Over the years, we have developed deep competence in project planning, forming a powerful team of specialists with long-standing experience.

PFL Antralux's mechanical production capability is the foundation that enables our measuring instrument manufacturing, custom fixture building, and turnkey project delivery — all under one roof in Le Landeron, Switzerland.

Precision Measuring Instruments

In-house manufacturing of air gauging components, probe bodies, fixture base plates, and measuring machine frames that form the foundation of PFL's product range.

Prototypes

Rapid prototyping of mechanical components from drawings or 3D models. Single-piece production with full CNC capability for fast iteration during product development.

Tools & Fixtures

Small Series Production

What tolerances can PFL achieve?

PFL Antralux specializes in very high precision machining. As a manufacturer of sub-micron measuring instruments, our machine park and operator skills are calibrated to the tightest tolerances. Specific achievable tolerances depend on the operation, material, and geometry, contact us with your drawing for a firm commitment.

Can you machine hardened materials and carbide?

Yes. PFL's grinding capabilities include cylindrical contouring with heat treatment, grinding of carbide (tungsten carbide), and coordinate grinding. We regularly machine hardened steel components for our own measuring instruments and can apply the same capability to customer parts.

Do you accept external machining orders?

Yes. While PFL's primary production serves our internal measuring instrument and fixture manufacturing, we also accept external orders for precision machining, prototypes, tools, small series, and standard parts. Send us your drawing with material specification and quantity for a quotation.

What batch sizes do you handle?

PFL handles everything from single prototypes to small series of several hundred pieces. We are not a mass-production facility, our strength is high-precision, low-to-medium volume work where quality and accuracy matter more than unit cost. Typical orders range from 1 to 500 pieces.

What materials can you work with?

PFL machines a wide range of materials: tool steels, stainless steels, hardened steels, aluminum alloys, brass, bronze, tungsten carbide, and engineering plastics. Material selection depends on the application, our engineers can advise on the best material choice for your specific requirements.

Do you provide laser engraving for part marking?

Yes. PFL offers laser engraving for permanent part identification, serial numbers, logos, data matrix codes, and traceability markings. This service is available both for parts we manufacture and as a standalone service for customer-supplied components.

Is PFL quality certified?

Yes. PFL Antralux is ISO 9001:2015 certified. All production is performed by certified specialist staff following documented quality procedures. Dimensional inspection of machined parts is performed using calibrated instruments, and inspection reports are provided upon request.

Where is the production facility located?

PFL Antralux's mechanical production facility is located in Le Landeron, Switzerland, in the heart of the Swiss precision manufacturing region. The 2,000 m² facility houses our complete CNC machine park, grinding equipment, assembly area, and quality inspection laboratory.
